Hello, Horned Frogs!

Our consultants are available 8-5, Mondays through Fridays, eager to help students, staff, and faculty. Students may receive assistance from the Center for Writing once per day, whether through online submissions, in person, or via Zoom.

You now have three options for getting help with your writing:

• To access help with your writing via e-mail, please submit your papers through the “online help” page on this website. We will respond to submissions in the order in which we receive them. If possible, we will return manuscripts with our suggestions for revision within two business days. Please submit all papers as Word documents. This is a strong option for feedback on completed papers.
• To arrange a personal teleconference via Zoom to brainstorm ideas, discuss writing issues, or go over a paper, please go to our online scheduler and register for an appointment by choosing the “Zoom” tab on the pull-down menu.  Each consultant’s stable Zoom address will appear under their name. At the time of your appointment, click on the link and you’ll enter the consultant’s waiting room. Zoom tutorials offer the most relaxed and safest person-to-person interaction for writing consultations at this time. If you have any problems with a Zoom appointment at the Center, please call 817-257-7221.
• We still offer quite a number of in-person tutorials, whether walk-ins or by appointment. To ensure someone is available for your  in-person appointment, please go to our online scheduler and register for an appointment by choosing the “in person” tab on the pull-down menu. In accordance with TCU policy, face masks are optional during in-person tutorials.
